The real star here is tea itself. As a tea specialist, Tsuboichi serves matcha, hojicha, and sencha brewed to bring out their full aroma and depth, paired with seasonal Japanese sweets. The shaved ice (kakigori), piled high and finished with rich matcha, is a local favorite — especially in the warmer months. Seated by the tsuboniwa (inner garden), you can let an unhurried afternoon simply unfold.
